Senoplast is pleased to receive another award, this time for our environmental and sustainability measures.

On 08. November during a sustainability conference at the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection in Berlin, German and Austrian EMAS companies were awarded.
There were 96 projects in the categories:

• Best Environmental Statement
• Best environmental and climate protection measure
• Best strategy for sustainable corporate development

The jury selected and awarded three projects in each category, with Senoplast receiving the award in the Best Environmental and Climate Protection Measure category for its "Sustainable Hall Conditioning" project .
The intelligent hall cooling system for the production hall achieves a CO2 saving of around 85 tonnes per year and reduces energy consumption by 80% . The two-stage adiabatic cooling system uses the effect of evaporation cooling and therefore requires neither climate-damaging refrigerants nor compression energy.
